- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the cumin seeds and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
- Add the chopped onion and cook until golden brown, about 5 minutes.
- Add the minced garlic, grated ginger and chopped red chili to the skillet and cook for another minute.
- Add the turmeric, coriander powder, garam masala, cumin powder, salt, tomato paste and tomato puree to the skillet and stir well.
- Add the cauliflower florets to the skillet and mix well with the spices.
- Pour 1/4 cup of water into the skillet, cover and let cook for 15 minutes or until the cauliflower is tender.
- Stir occasionally to prevent sticking to the bottom of the skillet.
- Once the cauliflower is cooked, uncover the skillet and cook for another 5 minutes until the sauce has thickened.
- Serve hot with chopped cilantro on top as a garnish. Enjoy!
