  1. First of all take a brinjal and make a slit in the middle and fill 8-10 cloves of garlic in the slit.
  2. Now fry this brinjal directly with the tomatoes on fire till it becomes almost black from all the sides.
  3. After roasting the brinjal, take out the garlic cloves from the slit of the eggplant.
  4. Now dip the finger tops in a bowl of water and remove the outer layer of roasted brinjal and tomato, which has turned black.
  5. Now put roasted brinjal, garlic cloves, roasted tomatoes, onions and green chillies in the bowl.
  6. In this bowl, crush the boiled potatoes with hands.
  7. Now add green coriander leaves and salt and mix it well with your hands.
  8. Now add mustard oil and half lemon juice and mix with a spoon. Our chokha is ready.
  9. Enjoy the chokha with baati or chapati and dal. You can also serve this as side dish with main course.

Note

Note that the brinjal is well cooked and if you need a little smoky flavour, carefully cook it a little more.
