Ingredients
  • 1 Soya chunck
  • 3 Nos. Onion (medium size)
  • 2 Nos Tomatoes
  • 5-6 Garlic
  • 1 Ginger
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger-garlic paste
  • 3 Nos Green chillies
  • 2 tablespoons Curd or Yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons Garam masala/ Sabzi masala
  • 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 2 tablespoons Coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon Kasuri methi
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • A pinch Heeng (Asafoetida)
  • A few Coriander leaves
  • Ghee/ Oil (For cooking)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cumin seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 2 nos Colves
  • 1 Cinnamon
  • 1 nos Cardamom
  • 200 Green peas ((Optional))
Instructions
  1. Soak soya granules for 15 minutes in warm water, then gently squeeze them to rinse the excess water.
  2. In a pressure cooker, melt the ghee and add the cumin seeds, cinnamon, cloves, and cardamom. When they start to splutter, add the green chilies and garlic and cook until golden brown. After that, add the onion and ginger paste and cook until the onions are golden brown.
  3. Turmeric, red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, and gram masala powder should all be added. Cook until the oil extracts from the masala paste for about a minute. Add the tomato puree and stir well.
  4. Keep the flame low and apply the well-beaten dahi, stirring constantly until the oil separates. Put in the soya granules and peas, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 5 minutes. Mix in the water and garam masala thoroughly. After the first whistle, cook for 5 minutes.
  5. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with chapattis in dinner or lunch. Your perfect gravy recipe is ready in just a few steps.
